What we collect, why, and the control you have over it.
1. What We Collect
- Account data: name, mobile number (OTP-verified), email, and user type (owner/buyer/agent).
- Listing data: property details, photos, videos, and location pins you provide.
- Usage data: searches, saved properties, enquiries, and device information used to improve the product.
- Location: only when you choose a city or pin a property location. We do not track you in the background.
2. How We Use It
- To run the marketplace: showing listings, connecting buyers with owners, sending OTPs and updates.
- To keep the platform safe: photo moderation, fraud screening, and listing verification.
- To improve Mynesto: understanding what features help people find homes faster.
3. What We Share
- When you enquire on a listing, your name and contact are shared with that owner/agent — that's the product working as intended.
- Service providers (SMS delivery, cloud hosting, photo moderation) process data strictly to provide their service.
- We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Delete your account anytime from the app (Profile → Delete Account) or via our account deletion page — your account is deactivated immediately, listings are archived, and personal data is removed from active systems.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and authentication uses OTP + secure tokens. No system is perfectly secure — report concerns to support@mynesto.in.
6. Your Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data, and withdraw consent for optional processing, by contacting support@mynesto.in. We respond within 30 days.
7. Children
Mynesto is not intended for anyone under 18.
8. Changes
We'll post updates here and notify you of material changes in the app.
